Functie

Then you might be the Project Manager SOLID is looking for!
- You will work on a new strategic project, overseeing and steering the conversion of an LNG installation.
- You will guide a multi-year project of approximately three years, followed by supporting the local operations team to ensure a sustainable and smooth handover.
- As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall monitoring and control of the entire project.
- You will act as a senior sparring partner for the local project team and report directly to senior management.
- You will oversee overall progress, planning, budgets, and project milestones.
- You will ensure a strong sense of urgency throughout all project phases.
- You will challenge the local team on quality, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.
- You will work closely with the local Project Manager to define priorities and support key decision-making.
- You will provide periodic reports to senior management on progress, risks, and major decision points.
- You will guide the project from detailed engineering through construction, commissioning, and the first weeks of operational activities.
- You will support the local operations team after project completion to ensure a smooth transition.
- You will focus on strategic oversight and quality assurance rather than day-to-day operational management.
Functie-eisen
- Do you hold a Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering, Process/Chemical Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering)?
- Do you have knowledge of or experience with COMAH/SEVESO regulations? That would be a strong advantage.
- Do you have experience with liquid bulk and/or gases (LPG, LNG, etc.), as well as tank terminals, tank construction, or tank conversion projects?
- Do you feel at home in a direct, pragmatic, and hands-on company culture?
- Are you able to challenge teams while maintaining a constructive and collaborative working relationship?
- Are you fluent in both Dutch and English?
- Are you production- and results-driven, action-oriented, decisive, and hands-on in your approach?
- Do you excel in stakeholder management and communication?
